Most people aren't afraid of collaborating. They're afraid of being the one who needed it.
Think about how often "I've got it handled" gets said when the honest answer is "I'm not sure how to do this part." Asking for help can feel like admitting a gap — like it says something about your ability instead of just where your time and skills happen to run out.
But every collaboration that ever started, started because one person said it first. Someone said, "I can't do this part alone." And almost every time, the other person felt relief, not judgment — because they'd been carrying the same thought.
Needing someone isn't the weak move. Waiting until it's too late to ask usually is.
If you've been sitting on something you haven't asked for help with — this is a small nudge to say it out loud.
