The right collaborator makes your weaknesses irrelevant, not invisible. Good partners do not hide your gaps. They cover them.
There is a difference between someone who pretends your weak spots do not exist and someone who is simply strong exactly where you are not. The first one leaves you exposed the moment things get tested. The second one means that part of the work stops being your problem.
Think about the thing you keep putting off. The numbers, the design, the outreach, the planning. Chances are someone nearby is good at that exact thing and actually enjoys it. What drains you is what they would pick first.
You do not need to become good at everything. You need to find the person for whom your gap is their strength, and be honest about where yours is.
