You don't need a co-founder. You need someone obsessed with the part of the problem you're not.
The "find a co-founder" advice gets repeated so often it's lost its meaning. People go looking for a generic partner — someone technical, someone "driven," someone who checks a box — instead of looking for the person who lights up at exactly the part of the work that drains you.
That's the real filter. Not "do we get along" or "do our skills complement each other" on paper — but does this person care about the piece of the problem you'd rather not touch.
That's not a co-founder search. That's a search for obsession that fills your gap.
