Our Story

It started with a simple observation. Every day, we pass people who have real skills and real potential — a neighbor, a colleague, someone at the local café. We know they're “working,” but we rarely know what they're actually capable of. What if we did? What if two people, both willing, could meet over a coffee nearby and start something real — a project, a business, a startup?

That question led to more questions.

We noticed businesses and solo entrepreneurs spending heavily on digital ads, chasing leads that rarely converted — because the buyer and the seller were never really close, never really in context. We saw HR teams drowning in downloaded resumes from portals full of inactive profiles, spending time, money, and energy calling people who weren't even looking. We saw people with real skills and real courses to teach, struggling to reach the audience who actually needed them — reduced to a PDF nobody opened.

Different problems. Same root cause: the right connections were already out there — we just weren't reaching them.

That's why we built Toskie — not as one app, but as a platform where talent, business, jobs, and learning all connect the way they should: closer, verified, and real.
