🍃 Leaf Detective: Turning a Simple Leaf into a Learning Mission
I designed “Leaf Detective,” an educational game that transforms an ordinary outdoor walk into an engaging learning mission.
Learners explore and collect leaves, observe their shape, veins, texture and edges, create detailed observational drawings, investigate clues, answer questions and identify the leaf to progress through challenges.
The game develops observation, reasoning, problem-solving, scientific curiosity and communication through play.
What I enjoy most about educational game design is discovering the learning hidden in everyday experiences and turning it into game mechanics that encourage learners to naturally observe, question, investigate and think.
Real leaves. Real clues. Real learning.
